Late night Legos. This was my Christmas present this year. I think it has more stickers than sets with four times as many pieces.

Update : Finished! This was fun. But so. Many. Stickers.

I really need to dig out my Lego LMP kit at night like this, I’ve been sitting on it for years now. Looks a like a great way to spend an evening.

My usual counterpoint to complaints like this is that printed pieces that aren’t, say, headlights or grilles tend to limit the use of that particular piece. Stickers you can choose not to mount.

Although admittedly a really creative person can use printed liveries like the one on there for a different race car, but still.

I’ve got a Ferrari transporter that is still in the box after at least three years. My wife just keeps giving it to me every year.

I’m not that creative. As for stickers vs printing, all the stickers on my older sets are drying out and peeling up.

oooo real stickers?

coz so many of the model cars i built had those cut outs... cut em out soak em in water and try to stick em without ripling them as they only work once and are fragile as fuck

We have several very large boxes in our hangar with DMG Mori on the side of them.  Sadly, there were not LMP cars, but CNC machines.

I have that one, and built it in yellow. I still have the pieces for red somewhere. I think you can get new stickers, or even have somebody print them for you. But I’ve never looked into it.

My company uses DMG machines and I have this Porsche on my desk. People keep asking if DMG gave me it, but sadly they did not.

I f you can find high quality scans on the interwebs or something, that would work. I haven’t searched so that may well be far more difficult than it sounds like it ought to be.
